I live in Kaluga.

Kaluga is a city in central Russia, founded in 1371.

In ancient times Kaluga was famous for its merchants, so one of our most interesting showplace is "Gostiny Dvor" (Russian indoor market).

 

But above all my city is known for its museums. The Museum of Cosmonautics is the first one in the world dedicated to the history of space exploration.





The museum was opened here for a reason. The founder of сosmonautics Konstantin Tsiolkovsky lived and worked in Kaluga.

 

The road to the stars began from this house.
