At this moment it's a project which fits with an emotional state of David who recently has become daddy for the second time.
The movie is a cartoon film's version of a literary series of Kathryn Lasky which compares well with "Harry Potter" among the west children. This time the plot develops in a fantastic world of owls. A young hero, an owlet Soren, as the fates decree, found himself in a mysterious Owl Academia, in which in actual fact such owlets like him are trained for making of them universal soldiers. The situation is not to Soren's liking and so he escapes from the suspicious institution. Soren unites with his best friends - an intelligent Gylfie, a confident Twilight and a very smart Digger. The guys are ready to help everybody and to struggle against the evil till the end. They have only one dream - to find the Great Tree and to join a noble band of brave heroes who live there - the legendary Guardian of Ga'Hoole...
What pleases us: a sincere respect of Zack Snyder to vocal abilities of actor David Wenham.
What is a weight on our mind: whoever wasn't David Wenham playing in this movie, in a Russian distribution nothing will remain of him...
