The forties of the last century...
A respectable gentleman and a model family man, husband, father and grandfather Harry Allen loves his wife fondly.
But it seems to him that the years of married life have driven away the romanticism from their relationships.
Harry fills this emptiness with a love affair with a young, gentle and charming Kay. But emotional sufferings of honest Harry is everlasting and deep.
As a result a high-minded gentleman comes to the conclusion that a premature death of his wife will be more humane than a horror of divorce, which she with her sensible heart and ardent love to him will not outlive...
However Harry makes two fatal blunders.
The first mistake: he mustn't introduce his sexy mistress to his best friend.
The second mistake: he must be more often at home and at any case he must find out what kind of cookies his wife likes to eat in company with a young and very sexy neighbour John O'Brien.
