The Marvel Universe, finally, has found in its depth the Galaxy of David Wenham. The company Netflix, which already engaged in the production of the acclaimed crossover mini-series "Defenders", suddenly discerned in David's magical dramatic charm the excellent ominous potential with a spice of Shakespeare's nerve.

The next season of "Defenders" is on the trail of the famous Iron Fist, in the real world named Danny Rand. David is mobilized to provide the antagonistic pole of the project in the image of a cruel, insidious and completely invulnerable corporate leader, Harold Meachum.

The main characters have a long story of enmity. Once upon a time Harold, best friend and business partner of Danny's father, was responsible for the death of his parents and captured their huge commercial campaign. But the revenge of son is sacred and legitimate matter. And the position of a billionaire is much more interesting than guarding the gate of an unknown town in the mountains.

Even if you were raised in the mysterious Tibetan monastery of K'un-Lun, you learned there all conceivable methods of manual drubbing, and your fist now is able to focus tremendous energy, which demolishes the walls.

In David's filmography this project broke the anti-record rating of the critics, who crashed a weak script, a fight choreography and dubious talents of the young super-hero. The viewers, who voted by viewing, were more generous. Except for the fact that for them the "antagonistic pole" hopelessly outweighed with his charisma and talent, and the main event of the series was "Faramir's transformation into Denethor."

Probably, something is wrong with the show, if its best part is a smart, handsome villain, with his sinister mesmerizing charm, perfect physical form and an inexhaustible set of emotions.
