In the script there is a full range of gustos: a handsome detective with a supporting team, a beautiful lady, who goes through the personal drama, and the murder of an innocent girl, which ties them both.
Detective Bennett O'Mara finds a chocolate wrapper on the body of the strangled victim. The only evidence leads him to the threshold of charming Juliana Lovece, one of those mysterious ladies, which are always the problem: you never know exactly what to do first - either immediately fall in love with them, or run away from them at breakneck speed.

Not very unique plot is compensated with three very important goodies.
1) Chocolate (the mysterious lady is an owner of a chocolate shop);
2) Mark Joffe (director of the famous and beloved by us
"Cosi")
3) and, of course, David Wenham (his list just is lacking a sort of smart detective at the criminal-loving angle)
Well, we just would be pleased with the third circumstance, but the first and second ones give the film a special taste!
By his own words, David agreed to this project simply because he decided that it would be funny. "It's enjoyable. I'm not going to have an emotional breakdown from the role." The ingenious recommendation for the thriller "in the best tradition of Agatha Christie."
