A film of an Australian master of social comedy David Caesar.
A story of troubles of young man, who is trying his best to hold his ground in the face of severe life.
The main character, Lenny, has recently left the prison. He got fixed up in a job in a golf club and is very diligent in his work, but the only diligence would not be enough. One must have a bit of luck.
The club business is not doing well, moreover Lenny's wife is an unemployed drug addict, owing her dealer a huge sum.
How can one make off all that set a comedy? Evidently one can.
David's character, Trevor is Lenny's brother, this time a very successful young man, working in a bank.
Most likely Trevor loves his brother much more than he wants it to show, however it doesn't hinder him to make Lenny's life a misery during the film, refusing to lend him the vitally important 3 thousand dollars.
