The second part of the screen version of the legendary, classic novel-fantasy "The Lord of the Rings" by Professor J.R.R. Tolkien...
Actually it is inconveniently to write a synopsis.
On the one hand there are such unique persons, who have neither read the book nor seen the film; but even this synopsis will not help them.
On the other hand, if you found yourself on this website, it is logically to suppose you had seen the movie. And if you were lucky enough you had seen the director's extended version.
Probably it is appropriate to notice the next: initially David Wenham was invited to the role of Faramir, the youngest son of the Gondorian Steward, because of his startling resemblance to his on-screen brother Sean Bean (Boromir). Everybody knows the favourite David joke: "We both have a big noses".
However, as afterwards Peter Jackson mentioned, Wenham besides turned out to be "as well a very powerfull actor". And he could make from a small, pressed in narrow time limits, role a real fairy tale.
