A sinister story about the sinister future, where we wouldn't want to go at all!
In this future prisons are a private business and a grade of horror, which they will be present, will be proportionate to perverted fancy of their owners.
A good cool boy John Robbins, of course, absolutely innocent, is condemned to life imprisonment, to put it more precisely, to a torment in the most awful prison, which only can draw a human imagination.
A prison is an isle named Absolom, lost in the vast ocean expanses. Within the isle prisoners are left on their own and are free in the wildest meaning of this word. In fact the isle turned into an isolate uncontrolled barbarian community of criminals, where two enemy groups - quite bad fellows and some better ones - are fighting to the death.
A good fellow Robbins cannot stand living in these circumstances. The trouble is an escape from the isle is an absolutely fantastic idea!...
However, there is a science fiction to realize fantastic ideas.
We could pretend not to notice what David was doing in that hell. But nothing of the sort: even for a fraction of a second, without cues and special mise en scenes, with a very strange exterior he appears in this film.
Hmm....And this is a way to stars... A rare caseЕ
