An audacious in innovation and mighty in dramatic effect film of director Rowan Woods, which is famous for his modernist spirit.

A severe realism and non-standard director's and operator's decisions - a style. which later reaches its development peak in a legendary, heaped with awards movie "The Boys".

"Tran" is a warming-up in its way to that triumph.

An excellent experimental film impressed the critics and audience and excited appetite of the director and his leading actor.

In the centre of the plot is a hard family-criminal clash.

A meager, but stubborn Ray, nicknamed "Tran", which works as a security guard in the Asiatic market, withstands steady attempts of his burglar-like brother Donnie and imperious "uncle Jack" to involve him in their falling to pieces heroine business.

The result is heart-rending.
