Australia is a peaceful and prosperous country, surrounded by oceans. It never knew the horrific disasters like the invasion of the Huns or the civil wars. So some of its most desperate representatives, such as Australian Federal Agents, have to seek exciting adventures overseas.
However, restoring order and legitimacy in the nearest countries is the sphere of the national interests.
Since 2003 the Australian Federal Police is a part of the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands - one of the most uncontrolled places on the planet.
Orgy of the gangs generated by bloody feuds and hushed up by the secret protection of their communities is the boundless field for the brave votaries of the order.
Their service is dangerous and difficult and, of course, not visible at first glance.
But the noble, brave men, endangering their lives, protect the peace of the Pacific: they patrol the streets and the coast, call the war criminals to account and struggle for the establishment at least a semblance of civilization in these half-savage islands.
The film follows several such characters on the way of their noble mission, carries away the successful Australians with the story of modern restless life of their rowdy neighbors - the peoples of Solomon Islands and East Timor.
It is natural that after the tremendous success of the TV mini-series "Answered by Fire" the part of the Narrator was got by the man, who embodied the collective image of these inconspicuous heroes, courageous and modest Federal Policemen, like Mark Waldman.
